Lake Zell is stocked with many species of fish: Herring, trout, zander, perch, char and pike to name a few! You can fish here from April until November.
The Water
The lake has an altitude of 749.7 m, an area of 4.55 km² and a water volume of 180.6 m³. The maximum sea depth is 69.8 m with a catchment area including the 54.7km lake. The big catch is not far away!

There are many species of fish to be found here, including Lake Zell's famous stock of freshwater herring.
Fishing Licence
The fishing card is valid from 1 April to 30 November and may be used between 4.00 am and 11.00 pm at the latest.
You can fish the whole lake from a boat or from the shore.
