Ronachkopf
The Ronachkopf in Thumersbach/Zell am See is very popular: there used to be a ski lift here, but now the groomed slope is only used by ski touring athletes. For those who train, just sprint across the slopes to the summit. If you prefer an idyllic setting, go through the forest and cross up the slope. A fantastic view awaits you at your destination. And you definitely deserve a stop at the Enzianhütte.
Altitude: 500m

Hohe Tauern National Park

There are numerous ski touring routes available around Kaprun. Well-known peaks in touring include the Großvenediger, Rauriser Sonnblick, Hoher Tenn, Imbachhorn, and many more. Whether in the ski area or off-road, it is important to be safe. That's why a tour has to be planned properly. What are the snow conditions, is there a danger of avalanches? Do I have an avalanche transceiver, an avalanche probe and a shovel with me? Is the emergency number saved and can the first aid kit be found in the backpack?
