The small Glockner circuit is particularly recommended if you have planned a short exploration tour. This Großglockner motorcycle route first leads to Fusch am Großglockner. The small national park community is known for its healing springs, which are definitely worth a stop. The tour then continues via Heiligenblut, Matrei and Piesendorf back to Kaprun. For even more variety on your holiday on the Großglockner, we also recommend taking a look at the Nockalm circuit and the Gerlos Pass - Hochkönig route.
Small "Glockner" circuit
The small Glockner tour begins right in front of the front door of the motorcycle hotel in Kaprun. This runs via Fusch am Großglockner, Heiligenblut, Großkirchen and Mötschach to Winklern. From there via the towns of Lienz, Huben, Matrei and Felbertauern to Mittersill. You then finally return to Kaprun via Uttendorf and Piesendorf. During the journey, 6,102 meters of altitude are covered and the highest point is reached right at the beginning of the small Glockner circuit after 39.1 km at an altitude of 2,553 meters.

Big Glockner tour with Lienz Dolomites
The large Glockner circuit, similar to the small Glockner circuit, runs from Kaprun via the towns of Fusch am Großglockner, Heiligenblut, Großkirchen, Mörtschach and Winklern to Lienz. A short tour through the Lienz Dolomites begins there. This includes the towns of Kötschach-Mauthen, Lesachtal and Abfaltersbach and ends again in the town of Lienz. From there it goes back to Kaprun via the towns of Huben, Matrei, Felbertauern, Mittersill, Uttendorf and Piesendorf. A total of 5,360 meters of altitude are covered along the entire route.

Nockalm circuit
You can also start the Nockalm tour directly from the Biker Hotel Sonnblick. This time the route via Fusch am Großglockner, Heiligenblut, Großkirchheim, Mörtschach and Winklern does not lead to Lienz, but to Oberfellach. From there continue via Spittal an der Drau, Radenthein, Bad Kleinkirchheim and Ebene Reichenau to Leoben. You then drive through the towns of St. Michael im Lungau and Mauterndorf to get to Obertauern. The last places before you arrive back in Kaprun to review the tour at the Sonnblick motorcycle hotel are Radstadt, Wagrain, St.Johann and Taxenbach. A total of 6,368 meters in altitude are covered on the Nockalm circuit.

Gerlos pass - Hochkönig
The Gerlo fun runs from Kaprun via Piesendorf and Mittersill to Kitzbühel and St. Johann in Tirol. From there continue through the towns of St. Ulrich am Pillersee, Lofer, Saalfelden and Dienten am Hochkönig to Bischofshofen.
